Don College presents

Roald Dahl’s

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Don College’s 2025 production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a story of hope, kindness and the power of imagination. Based on the famous novel by Roald Dahl, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory features popular songs including “The Candy Man”, “Pure Imagination” and “I’ve Got A Golden Ticket”. This production will excite audiences of all ages with its array of well-known characters and inspirational story. Accompanied by Grandpa Joe, Charlie enters the factory as one by one the other children succumb to a series of “accidents” prompted by their greed, pride, selfishness and arrogance. Mr Wonka rewards a child’s kind heart, curiosity and creativity with a schnozztastic prize. What could possibly be discovered in Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory? There is only one way to find out … With its key messages of, ‘appearances can be deceiving’, ‘it’s ok to dream’ and ‘always choose kindness’, we look forward to sharing the outstanding talents of our students with you in 2025.
