Image Transfer Workshop with Gel Plates

Join local artist Jan Larcombe as she shares her skills with participants on how to use Gel Plates as a medium for image transfer.

In this hands on workshop you will learn how to use gel plates as a medium for image transfer as an integral process to creating prints.
Participants will use up to four personal images to explore the possibilities of printing with gel plates, and create a concertina book for presenting their final prints.
All materials apart from personal images will be provided. Once enrolled, participants will receive information about how to prepare their images for the workshop.

Jan Larcombe Bio.

My Arts practice is focused on alternative sustainable photography, printmaking and drawing(frottage). I am an emerging artist focusing on life, living and place.
I work with local lutriwita coastal areas using a range of photographic, printmaking and drawing techniques exploring ways to work outside Westen/European landscape traditions.
