An exhibition of works from the Devonport Regional Gallery’s Permanent Collection by women artists, focusing on their diverse engagements with the changing environment. For International Women’s Day 2022, the United Nations is calling attention to the increasing vulnerabilities women face as a result of the global climate crisis. In Tasmania, as around the world, women and girls play crucial roles in raising awareness and leading efforts in climate adaptation and mitigation. Through their work each of these artists call attention to the vulnerability and preciousness of our environment.
