The Macquarie Point urban space – adjacent to Hobart’s historic waterfront, is an area of significant economic, social, political and environmental interest in Tasmania. Its use now and into the future has captured the attention of many. A proposed new AFL Stadium on this site, is being touted as a key government initiative.
This exhibition captures the energy and emotion that surrounds the proposed AFL Stadium project in Tasmania and serves to engage viewers in the broader conversation about what next.
It explores matters of place and what it means for people and communities.
This exhibition is part of our 2026 Little Gallery Emerging Artist Program.
