Paper on Skin™ Exhibition

The biennial Paper on Skin™ wearable art award invites artists to create a wearable garment made from at least 80% paper. First held in 2012, Paper on Skin™ draws on the papermaking heritage of the North West coast of Tasmania and has since grown to become an international event.

Nine countries are represented among the 2026 finalists, all of whom demonstrate great creativity in approaching the challenge. The exhibition will showcase the garments presented at the gala event held on Saturday 3 October.
