Capturing 24 hours of coastal living through your lens
PORTAL enters us into the many moments that make up our lives on the North West Coast of Tasmania and you’re invited to take part in this special community photography project by sharing a photograph from our 2024 Capture Day:
Monday 4 November 2024
Take a photograph on Recreation Day, capturing an image that connects with the theme of ‘tidal’.
Photographs will be included in a public exhibition at the Devonport Regional Gallery during the tidal.24 festival.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
> Step 1: REGISTER FOR A REMINDER by Thursday 31 October 2024.
Enter your name, email and postcode on the form below, or email us at artgallery@devonport.tas.gov.au to let us know your details and that you are registering for an (optional) reminder.
> Step 2: CAPTURE AN IMAGE on Monday 4 November 2024.
Photograph a moment that captures ‘tidal’ on our Capture day.
> Step 3: SUBMIT & SHARE by Friday 15 November 2024.
Submit your photograph via this webpage or email your photograph to artgallery@devonport.tas.gov.au
Please include your full name, contact information and details about your photo
(e.g.time, location, subject, and the story behind the photo).
> Step 4: GO SEE THE EXHIBITION between 6 December 2024 and 11 January 2025.
