Suminagashi Workshops

Suminagashi 墨 流 し or “floating ink” is the ancient Japanese process of marbling plain paper with water and ink to transform it into something vibrant and colourful. Join us in the Creative Space at the Devonport Regional Gallery these summer holidays to have a go at this ancient technique. Works can be taken home or used for display as part of the Home Is Where the ‘Art Is upcoming exhibition.
