tidal.27 Artist In Residence (AIR) Applications now open

The tidal.27 festival AIR program aims to support Tasmanian artists to develop their practice while connecting with the public and the theme of ‘tidal.27 the rivers and waterways are talking ’ in Devonport during the tidal.27 festival.

Conditions Of Entry 

• To enter, Artists must currently reside in Tasmania and be able to provide proof of address.  

• Group collaborations will be accepted as long as all parties meet conditions of entry and understand that the fee in total is $7000. 

• Registration to Work with Vulnerable People required.  

• Must hold individual Public Liability Insurance to cover $20 million or willing to obtain.  

• Devonport City Council employees and their family members, as well as DRG Advisory Committee members, are ineligible to enter the Program.  

Completed entry form by 5.00pm on Sunday 11 October 2026.  

The tidal.27 festival AIR application requirements: 

• Completed application form via the website e-form or in person at the Gallery. 

• One-page Artist CV 

• Up to 10 artwork images as jpeg files 

Applicants will be advised of the outcome by the end of November 2026, ahead of the residency between Monday 25 January and Saturday 6 February 2027.
