Winter School Holiday Program
My Happy Place – create a self-portrait that celebrates you and what makes you happy. Inspired by one of Australia’s most loved contemporary artists Kaylene Whiskey. Whiskey is part of the talented collective Iwantja Arts, the art centre in Indulkana Community.
You will learn how to create your self-portrait using a mix of collage, painting and drawing.
Suitable for children 5 and above (children under 8 must be accompanied by a responsible adult).

THE BIG COLLAGE
Drop in and join us as we create a large-scale map of Devonport celebrating what you love about this city inspired by artists who create maps. Using pens, pencils, textas and assorted papers over two drop-in sessions we invite you to draw and or collage your favourite spots, draw up the route you take to get home by foot, bicycle or car. Where is your favourite park, what part of the bay is special to you. (you will have the opportunity to create your own mini map to take home).
Suitable for children 5 and above, (children under 8 must be accompanied by a responsible adult).

Wearable Art – make your own Lumino City Cape
Inspired by Australian Wearable Art Designers we invite you to create your own Cape to wear to the Lumino Festival. We will supply a pre-cut cape, and your job is to turn it into a piece of wearable art inspired by light and the ocean. Using fluro paints and fabric pens, you will create a stunning design to wear to the Lumino festival.
Suitable for children 5 and above (those under 8 must be accompanied by a responsible adult)
