EXPRESSION OF INTEREST – PUBLIC ART COMMISSION FOR DEVONPORT BLUFF/SAVU SAUNAS
Devonport City Council is pleased to release this Expression of Interest (EOI) to support the
commissioning of a new public artwork for our city .
Council wishes to engage a suitably experienced artist to collaborate with Council and key
stakeholder Savu Saunas, on the creation and delivery of a mural, to be located on the
north and south façade of the foundation of the now decommissioned Devonport Sound
Shell, the current site of Savu Saunas, Devonport Bluff.
Emerging artists, or collaborations of artists, are welcome to submit an EOI.
This commission is co-sponsored by Savu Saunas and Devonport Council.

The project sponsors are seeking an outcome that enhances the current use of the site and
recognises the importance and significance of the location.
SUBMISSIONS
The Devonport Regional Gallery Advisory Committee will manage the Expression of Interest
process.
