Thoughts on Rosetzky

It has been a busy few months here at the Gallery, with our current exhibition True Self: David Rosetzky Selected Works coming to a close at the end of next week. Our work experience student, Jess Walsh from Don College, Devonport, spent over an hour in the exhibition this week and here’s what she thought…

“I thought the exhibition was interesting and I like how it makes you think about relationships and the way we interact with one another. Viewing some works I was confused as to what the particular work was trying to ‘say’ and its relevance to the exhibition. In particular, Luke (1998) is from an individual perspective as opposed to relationships with others. The other video works featured groups of people or individuals talking about being involved with others.”

True Self: David Rosetzky Selected Works is on at Devonport Regional Gallery now until Sunday 12 July 2015.

True Self: David Rosetzky Selected Works is a Centre for Contemporary Photography (CCP) and NETS Victoria touring exhibition curated by Naomi Cass, Director and Kyla McFarlane, Associate Curator, CCP, Melbourne.
