Wrapped

Main Gallery
Saturday February 27 – Sunday April 4 2010
Artist: Jill Ferrall

An exhibition of large handmade, paper – based wall hangings, the work is an expression of the artist’s research into the cultural and heritage values associated with mourning. The beautifully crafted pieces, some with hand painted surfaces reference iconic fabric shapes that are associated with traditional women’s wrapped forms.
