The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Works from the Permanent Collection
Exhibition Dates: 17 March – 29 April 2012
Curator: Ellie Ray

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly: Works from the Permanent Collection curated by Devonport Regional Gallery Director Ellie Ray surveyed the many faces of Devonport City’s Art Collection.

A range of works have been purchased or donated over a 40 year period; this exhibition aimed to traverse the various genres, media and themes of the Collection.

However, what made this exhibition different from past collection shows is that the Gallery is invited visitors to judge the individual artworks as either good, bad or ugly. The Gallery compiled the information gathered and uploaded the results here on the website.
