The paranaple arts centre operates in accordance with Tasmanian Public Health Guidelines and our COVID Safety Plan. We have made some changes to ensure visiting the Theatre is as safe as reasonably possible.
This page provides the latest information and what to expect when you visit the Theatre.
If you have any symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in a COVID-19 area of concern, do not enter. Please contact us to exchange your tickets.
Before entering the venue you will be required to register using the Check-In Tas app or QR code.
Please have the latest version of the Check-In TAS app downloaded on your phone.
Due to current circumstances contactless card payments are the preferred payment option at the Box Office and Theatre Bar.

As we work together to ensure the paranaple arts centre is a COVID Safe venue, the below outlines some measures you can expect on your upcoming visit.
CAPACITY LIMITS & SEATING CONFIGURATIONS.
In accordance with Public Health the paranaple arts centre is currently selling tickets up to 100% capacity for all performances. This means there will not be physical distancing within the auditorium, and you will have patrons sitting directly next to, in front of, and behind you.
Our foyers will open 1 hour prior to the start of the show. Please help us by arriving early.
Our auditorium doors will open 45 minutes prior to show time to allow time for you to move safely to your seat. Once you have purchased food & beverage, merchandise and visited the restrooms, we ask that you move swiftly to your seat to avoid crowding in the foyers.
KEEP YOUR DISTANCE WHEN QUEUING & MOVING.
To assist with social distancing, we strongly encourage you to stay in your allocated seat unless you are purchasing food & beverage, merchandise or using the restrooms, in which case we ask you purchase your items and then move back to your allocated seat as soon as possible. When you move around the theatre foyers, where it is practical, please ensure that you keep your distance from other patrons and wear your mask. There will be queuing systems in place to help usher you through the venue in a safe manner. Please follow the signs and the directions of our theatre team.
KIOSK AND BAR.
Our Kiosk and Bar will be open prior to the performance. The momentary removal of masks for consumption of food & beverage is permitted. To assist with crowding in the foyers, we ask that once you have purchased your items, and make your way to your allocated seat for consumption.
AT THE END OF THE SHOW.
At the end of the performance, we will be exiting the auditorium through all exits. Once you have exited the theatre, we ask that you promptly move away from the exits to ensure others can exit without congestion.
SANITISE, SANITISE, SANITISE.
We will have hand sanitising stations located at several points of the theatre for your use. Please make sure to use these regularly during your visit.
Our theatre foyers and auditorium receive a professional clean after every performance, and staff will remain on site throughout the performance to constantly clean washrooms, touchpoints and high traffic areas.

Our Staff will monitor everyone’s safety, and to assist you in any way they can. If you feel uncomfortable at any time, please speak to one of our friendly staff.
