PORTAL enters us into the many moments that make up our lives on the North West Coast of Tasmania.

You’re invited to take part in this special community photography project by sharing a photograph from our capture day:

What does your day look like? Boxing Day sales? New toys and mess? Family walks on the each? A lazy day?

Each photograph will be used in a public exhibition at the Devonport Regional Gallery as part of tidal.22.

Step 1: REGISTRATION PREFERRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
Email us at artgallery@devonport.tas.gov.au. Let us know your name, number and email and that you are registering to participate in Portal 2022.

Step 2: CAPTURE on Monday 26 December 2022
Photograph a moment that captures life on the coast on our capture day – Boxing Day.
Use your smartphone, compact digital camera, SLR, digital SLR or any other device.

Step 3: SUBMIT & SHARE by Monday 9 January 2023
Send your photograph to artgallery@devonport.tas.gov.au.
Please include your full name, contact information and details about your photo (e.g.time, location, subject, and the story behind the photo).

Step 4: GO SEE between Friday 20 January – Saturday 25th February 2023
Visit the Devonport Regional Gallery to see your photograph as part of the exhibition.

Opening hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, Sat & Public Holidays 9am-2pm. Closed Sun.
