Mersey Valley Apple Festival including floats

‘The Apple Festival was started through the Spreyton School, as far as I know. The dahlias would have been in the closer part of the town, and the apples were out in the suburbs. The apples and pears were all grown in the orchards out in Spreyton. It was a great way of getting the community together.’
